Welcome to another day on the South Porch.
As we enter a new year, I’m going to share all the books that I read in 2024. My goal the past couple of years has been to read at least one book per month. While I’ve far surpassed reading twelve books both years, I’m sticking with this goal again this year because every month is different. Some months I can read a bunch of books, but other months are really hard and I can barely get through one. My goal is to be continually reading, regardless of how many books end up on this list.
Common sense disclaimer: I read a lot of books for all different reasons, including research. Just because I read it, does not mean I agree with everything in it or recommend it.
The Books I Read in 2024
What was your favorite book you read last year?
Thanks for joining me today!

I love this list and have added many to my tbr! This last year I have been reading a lot of fantasy, my favorites being The Girl Who Fell Beneath the Sea, The Left-Handed Booksellers of London, and The Book that Wouldn't Burn. Not necessarily Christian books, but fantastic world-building in each!
What a list! I just started What God Has to Say About Our Bodies by Sam Allberry too, and I'm already loving it.
